Rushford-Peterson Basketball




I followed Rushford-Peterson's basketball team during the high school 1A tournament. They were the underdogs, but they won their first game against Springfield. See more here and here.

A visitor from Lebanon


My brother's girlfriend's father is in town visiting from Lebanon for the first time since Nick and Saydi have been dating. Our (almost) complete families met up for the first time yesterday. We all got a long famously.

Shuttle Cock // Beijing

Shuttle Cock or Jianzi is a traditional game of hacky sack in China. It is most commonly played by the retired communities. I'll admit, that coming from a culture where hacky sack is only played by rebellious youth, it was very unusual to see older Beijingers playing the game.

Speed Graphic

This is the Speed Graphic camera that my grandfather used during his career as a commercial photographer. My cousin Sophia is writing a school report about it, and asked me to take its portrait.
Also, I now have my own new camera, a D300s, and I am no longer in China.
